IMAGINiT Technologies’ Experts Share BIM Expertise at BiLT North America

Expertise and Sessions Help AEC Professionals and Facility Managers Apply BIM to Every Stage of the Building Lifecycle

July 17, 2019

A common challenge for architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers is fully integrating the wealth of data and analytics from building information models (BIM) throughout the building lifecycle. At BiLT North America, IMAGINiT experts Carl Storms, senior applications engineer for building solutions and Peter Costanzo, director of IMAGINiT’s facilities management team, will present effective strategies for sharing key BIM data with project partners throughout the building lifecycle. At the IMAGINiT exhibit booth, Matt Mason, director of software development for IMAGINiT will also demonstrate how IMAGINiT’s Clarity 2020 software helps project partners access key BIM data, automate tasks and drive collaboration throughout the process.

“We help our customers glean additional value from their models through a combination of expert consulting and our own industry-leading software called Clarity which improves the flow of critical information and collaboration between project partners, owners and facility managers,” says Bill Zavadil, chief operating officer, IMAGINiT Technologies. “For BiLT conference attendees, we’re sharing these insights by bringing some of the best experts in the industry directly to the community.”

Learn with IMAGINiT Experts at BiLT North America

IMAGINiT presenters, Carl Storms and Peter Costanzo, bring over 30 years of architecture, construction, BIM and facilities management knowledge to BiLT North America. Attendees can learn the true power of end-to-end building lifecycle management from four sessions that highlight how BIM can help break down silos, improve budget management over the life of the project, keep building schedules on track and efficiently manage maintenance of the completed building. This unique blend of knowledge is derived from years of working with customers who leverage Autodesk building design and construction software as well as facilities management applications from ARCHIBUS. These insights will be shared in the following presentations:

Construction From a Model in the Wild (July 18, 11:30AM-12:45PM PDT) – As a participant in this roundtable discussion, IMAGINiT’s Carl Storms will examine BIM/Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) workflows and discuss whether it is feasible to build from a model, instead of construction documents.

AEC Professionals Are from Mars, Owners Are from Venus (July 18, 4:55PM-6:10PM PDT) – In this session, IMAGINiT’s Peter Costanzo and Carl Storms will jointly discuss BIM-related challenges from both the AEC professional's and owner's perspective, touching on the unique BIM requirements for both groups. They will outline how to develop a roadmap that enables collaboration through design, construction, commissioning and facility management. To learn more about this presentation, view this interview with Peter and Carl on the BiLT North America website.

Perspectives on the Changing Face of AECO + Beyond 2019 (July 19, 11:20AM-12:35PM PDT) – This roundtable discussion, including IMAGINIT’s Carl Storms will use a 'TED' Talk format to discuss how the industry is changing and how AEC professionals and facility owners can change with it in 2019 and beyond.

How to Code-ish….. (July 20, 1:00PM-2:15PM PDT) – In the rapidly evolving AEC industry having an understanding of how to code, even a little, can be a real advantage. IMAGINiT’s Carl Storms will demonstrate some tricks and tips that will help AEC professionals code their way to quick solutions.

BILT North America 2019 attendees can sign-up for these informative classes while registering for BILT NA. BiLT North America takes place from July 18 – 20 in Seattle, Washington. Those who are unable to attend BiLT North America 2019 can learn about IMAGINiT’s building solutions at imaginit.com or by talking to an IMAGINiT expert at 1-800-356-9050.

In addition to IMAGINiT’s four expert-led presentations, Matt Mason will demonstrate how IMAGINiT’s Clarity 2020 software helps project managers evaluate project performance with analytics, automate tasks to save time, all while improving collaboration.
