Working with Horizontal Conditional Assemblies

When building Civil 3D corridors, the design’s daylighting is by a cut/fill conditional subassemblies. Civil 3D has a second conditional subassembly type, the horizontal conditional subassembly. The Horizontal Conditional sub-assembly is a potential alternative to creating corridors with multiple regions. The Horizontal conditional subassembly is best used when different subassemblies are needed in a design that is not cut/fill based. An example of using a horizontal conditional subassembly is creating a corridor that needs to change the curb type from a barrier to a mountable curb for a driveway. This lecture exams cut/fill conditionals and the creation of horizontal conditional sub-assemblies.
