We have assembled a list of the most common questions about the Autodesk Flex Token purchase process below. Flex is another way to access Autodesk software. Flex is a “pay-as-you-go” consumption model where you pre-purchase “tokens” to access Autodesk products.
There are a variety of use cases where Autodesk Flex may be beneficial to your organization. They include:

Token access is available for a wide range of Autodesk products. To see the most current Autodesk products available via the Token program, visit the Autodesk website. Token usage allows access to a product for 24 hours at a time.

Tokens are available for quantities of 100 up to 1M – pricing shown in the chart below
Yes. Tokens expire 1-yr after issued and do not rollover, nor are they renewable.

IMAGINiT will work with you to understand your software utilization, number of users, and frequency with which your software tools are accessed. If Flex is a good fit, we will make a recommendation for your company. Your IMAGINiT representative will provide you with a budgetary proposal for Autodesk Flex Tokens.
Note: The person who IMAGINiT prepares the proposal for, must be the same person who is purchasing the tokens as they will be the ones to receive the email from Autodesk.
The way we enter the proposal in OUR system translates directly to Autodesk’s systems therefore the buyer must match the person we have prepared our proposal for.
The buyer will receive a final quote from Autodesk via email from: email@example.com. The quote can also be viewed by the buyer in their Autodesk Account. There the buyer will be able to view the quote and select “Your Cart” to complete the purchase.
Note: If the buyer doesn’t have a team set up in their Autodesk Account, Autodesk will create a new team for them. IMAGINiT customer advocates (firstname.lastname@example.org) can then assist in reallocating tokens to the desired users.
Immediate payment options include credit, debit card, ACH, or PayPal. Upon payment, you will receive immediate access to your Flex Tokens. Customers who have applied for and received credit terms from Autodesk (refer to next question on how to apply for credit terms with Autodesk) will have Net 30 days to pay for their Flex Tokens but will be able to access tokens immediately after the order is placed.
Credit terms vary by country. You must contact Autodesk directly to set up terms by sending an email to email@example.com letting them know that you would like to set up payment terms between Autodesk and your company. To set up terms, your minimum purchase price must be greater than US $1,000 US. You:

If your internal purchase process requires vendor set-up, you can access the vendor form here: https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/vendor-forms. The buyer clicks on the Buy Now link to begin purchase process and enters the PO number and has the option to attach the PO. Autodesk will not complete customer vendor forms, however if you need further assistance please reach out to your IMAGINiT Account representative.
Pay by invoice options vary by country and are available for orders greater than US $1,000 (or local currency equivalent) and up to US $100,000 (or local currency equivalent). If this option is available for your order, select the Pay by Invoice option and proceed with placing your order. If the order is greater than US $100,000 and you want to pay by invoice, please reach out to your IMAGINiT Account representative.
You will have the opportunity to upload your tax exemption certificate or complete a new one at the time you check out your cart.
Tokens become available as soon as the Autodesk invoice is paid by credit, debit card, ACH, or PayPal. Access may vary for companies who have established special payment terms with Autodesk.
Autodesk wants to distribute products to market faster and to do that, they need greater insights into the products being utilized by their customers. In addition, Autodesk wants to provide customers with a digitized way to purchase as needed and expedite their access to tokens.
Flex will always be on a separate proposal enabling your request to quickly transmit to Autodesk. You receive immediate access to your tokens after you have made your purchase. Other Autodesk products and IMAGINiT services will be quoted and processed same as before.
IMAGINiT helps your organization navigate the process. In the pre-purchase phase, we work with your organization to ensure Flex is the best fit and meets your overall objectives. In the post-purchase phase, IMAGINiT helps your organization deploy and assign users to the tokens quickly and efficiently.
As a complimentary service, our team provides detailed reports with graphical insights showing your overall software consumption. We can show software analytics by product offering, product type, user, team, company, division, as well as the associated costs.
For Autodesk Flex, you must transact as outlined above. For other Autodesk software or IMAGINiT services, you will work directly with IMAGINiT as in the past.
