Autodesk Civil 3D includes extensions for performing hydrology and hydraulic analysis. These tools include the ability to perform surface runoff investigations, floodplain analysis, the design of pipe networks and the calibration of existing pipe networks. In this course, users will be guided through Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) from an introduction through advanced analysis, while also using several Civil 3D and Map 3D tools which aid in the analysis.

This course is recommended to users needing an understanding of the tools and methodologies of water resource engineering who are already using Autodesk Civil 3D. The course will introduce common engineering challenges and solutions as full workflows with a discussion of their reasoning and applications. Users will be shown different types of projects from schematic and scale-based designs to achieve a multitude of different applicable project resolutions.
