Inventor Drawing Templates

This Inventor training course instructs students on the many different ways a title block can be created inside of Inventor. Through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum, students acquire the knowledge needed to create a drawing template; including from scratch, starting with an Inventor default file, and importing an existing AutoCAD Title block. Students will learn how to map Inventor properties from models to the drawing template for auto population of specific fields.

Upon completion of the Inventor training course, students will be able to:
  • Describe the drawing environment and how to use it.
  • Learn how to create borders and title blocks.
  • Comprehend the purpose of the styles and standards editor.
  • Map specific properties to a drawing template.
Prerequisites for this Inventor training course:
Introduction to Solid Modeling course or have an understanding of what properties and parameters are in the Inventor software.
